On Tuesday 25 February 2020, Mr CHHORN Prasath, the Deputy Secretary-General of LMLECC lead the centre's members to join the meeting on Lancang-Mekong Cooperation (LMC) working mechanism of the Ministry of Interior. The meeting was presided over by His Excellency TENG SAVONG, the Secretary of State of the Ministry of Interior，and participated by the head of relevant components of LMC，on which the provincial and operational level officers reported the resolution on the revision the Composition of the Lancang-Mekong Cooperation (LMC) Working Group of the Ministry of Interior and the work target 2020 to all the members of LMC. 

During the meeting, Pol. Gen. CHHAY Sinarith, the Deputy General Commissioner of General Commissariat of Cambodian National Police reported the main achievements of the year of 2019 and the work target for the year of 2020 of the LMC.  His Excellency TENG Savong allowed Mr CHHORN Prasath, the Deputy Secretary-General of LMLECC to report about his main tasks working at LMLECC briefly. He suggested to all the members of related departments to increase the cooperation with LMC of the Ministry of Interior as a fundamental work to cooperate with LMLECC and all member states.

 His  Excellency TENG Savong concluded that this meeting purpose is to inform to all members to understand their roles and responsibilities to enhance cooperation under the Mekong mechanism.  He added that join hands together for the future collaboration between the Ministry of Interior and LMLECC is for the stability of safety, security, and peace for Cambodia and other members along Mekong river.
