On January 11, 2021, H.E. Pol. Lt. Gen. Pang Naren, the director of the Lancang-Mekong Cooperation’s Secretariat of the Ministry of Interior of Cambodia, held the hand over ceremony of the 60 bulletproof vests donated by the LMLECC center to the Anti-drug department and the Anti human trafficking and juvenile protection. On this occasion, Mr. Chhorn Prasath, the DSG of the LMLECC, and the permanent deputy director of the Lancang-Mekong Cooperation’s Secretariat on behalf of the Secretary-General of the LMLECC have a great honor to join this ceremony. 

Even though the epidemic period, it is emphasized that the LMLECC makes deep consideration to enhance the security cooperation with member states through its mechanism to ensure that operations to suppress the transnational crims are entirely successful and safe. Remarkably, the LMC’s secretariat achieved good cooperation with a real contribution to maintaining the security and stability of the Lancang Mekong basin and jointly build a safe and stable River Basin. Moreover, the LMLECC will continue to maintain the safety and security, and stability of the Lancang Mekong basin, ensuring people’s living and working in peace and promoting social and economic development.
