During the period between May 25 and May 27, Mr. Prasath, Deputy Secretary General of LMLECC, led a delegation participated by staff members from the Joint Operation Coordination Directorate to visit Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, where they carried out exchanges with Guangxi Public Security Department and Guangxi Police Academy successively.

During the visit to Guangxi Public Security Department, Mr. Hu Jianqi, Deputy Director General of Guangxi PSD, host a meeting with the delegation. And the leaders from relevant divisions in charge of international cooperation, criminal investigation and drug control respectively participated in this meeting. Both sides carried out in-depth discussion on issues including the establishment of a regular liaison mechanism, the enhancement of information sharing and the promotion of the pragmatic cooperation in preventing and combating both human trafficking crimes and drug-related crime.

During the visit to Guangxi Police Academy, Mr. Zhang Jun, President of the Academy, met with the delegation. And both sides conduct communications on the promotion of the cooperation in capacity building. Prior to the meeting, Mr. Zhang Jun accompanied the delegation to visit the Drug Laboratory, the Criminal Investigation Laboratory and the Command Laboratory featuring intelligent policing.
