On April 21, 2020, LMLECC and the Anti-Drug Department of the Ministry of the Interior of Cambodia held a video meeting to exchange views on the results of the first phase of the "Joint Initiative to Combat Illicit Trafficking of Precursor Chemicals in the Lancang-Mekong River Basin." The meeting was chaired by Ms.Wu Tingfang, Deputy Director of the Joint Operation Coordination Directorate of LMLECC. The Cambodian side submitted a periodic results report in accordance with the unified arrangement for joint operations and posed questions for the next step of cooperation. LMLECC responded to the questions. The two sides discussed the application of the "Pre-Export Notification", the verification of the flow of precursor chemicals, and notification of case clues.

The relevant officers in charge of the anti-drug department, the responsible officer of Lancang-Mekong working Group of the Cambodian Ministry of Interior, and the relevant personnel of the Joint Operations Coordination Directorate of LMLECC attended the meeting.
