On 07 April 2019, the Cambodia Student Management Committee in Yunnan Province hosted the Cambodia New Year Celebration at Kunming Science and Technology University. The Cambodia General Consulate, Head of Cambodia Students Management committee in Yunnan, Deputy Head of Cambodia Students Association in People’s Republic of China, the representative of Kunming Science and Technology University Professor, and the Cambodia Students study in Kunming participated the event celebration. Cambodian staff members from LMLECC are invited to the enjoy the event celebration.

  During the event, there were several Cambodian traditional performance and Cambodia traditional Food was served to show the Cambodia New Year Festival customs. Chinese Shaolin Kongfu was presented and won applause from the spectators. The traditional new year lasting from April 14^th to 16^th  is one of the three major festivals in Cambodia.
