On March 4^th , the LMLECC held a meeting focusing on the two joint operations to be carried out in 2019. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Y Sothy, the director of the Joint Operation Coordination Directorate (JOC). Participants are staff from JOC and representatives from the Capacity Building Directorate (CB)and the Case Investigation Support Directorate (CIS). The meeting first introduced the design ideas and operating plans. The participants of CB and CIS discussed the methods to collect law enforcement needs of member countries, ways of collecting and exchanging crime information, training and use of LMIN system according to the actual work, and proposed feasible advice to the preparation and operation.

After further improving the joint operation plan, JOC will seek the opinions of all member states and formally coordinate joint operations to effectively provide high-quality and efficient services for law enforcement agencies in member states to combat transnational crimes.
