On January 25, the 137th China-Laos-Myanmar-Thailand law enforcement joint patrol on the Mekong River was successfully concluded. Two staff members of LMLECC participated in the joint patrol.

The operation lasted four days with a total voyage of more than 600 kilometers. China, Laos, Myanmar and Thailand dispatched about 140 law enforcement officers and 7 vessels to participate in the operation.

During the operation, the staff members of LMLECC and law enforcement officers from 4 countries enhanced mutual understanding, strengthened traditional friendship and consolidated cooperative relationships, with a common purpose to maintain security and stability along the Mekong River.
