On 17^th of May, the Drug Control Department of MPS of Laos dispatched law enforcement officers to search for a rented house in a village in Saythany County, Vientiane City. The official arrested 4 suspects , and seized 15 kilograms of heroin. A car, 4 mobile phones and some cash involved were confiscated. According to preliminary investigation, these drugs were prepared for sale to buyers, but the suspects were arrested by the authorities before trading. Currently, the case is under further investigation.
