A few days ago, the fire department of the Ministry of Public Security in Laos said that during the celebration of the Laos New Year (April 12-16, 2019), 9 fires took place across the country, in Vientiane Prefecture and Borikhamsay, Bokeo, Xieng Khouang,Savannakhet,Champassak and other provinces. The most serious of these was a fire in Champassak Province, which caused 22 houses burned and property losses of nearly 4000.000.000 Jeep (about RMB 4 million). The fire didn’t cause personnel casualties. The relevant departments are currently investigating the cause of the fire.
