On the 20th, the head of the Thai Drug Control Agency, Niyom Termsrisuk, said in a press conference that the Thai side recently arrested two transnational heroin smugglers in Thai-Australian drug bust. One is Stephens Blair who is from Canada, 38-year-old, and the other suspect is a 27-year-old from Thai whose name is Pahon Sivasirikaron.

Niyom said the two were arrested at Suvarnabhumi Airport on January 17. The Thai police found eight dampers in the seized package, which contained 3,740 grams of heroin.

Niyom said the police are making their best to collect evidence to arrest the remaining gang members.
