In the evening of December 24th, 2018, the Chinese PLA Culture Troupe celebrated the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Lao People's Army in Vientiane, capital of Laos. The member of the Political Bureau of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, the Minister of National Defense, Admiral Chansamone CHANYALATH accompanied by Chinese Ambassador to Laos Jiang Zaidong and the Chinese Military Attache in Laos, Chen Yongjing, attended the performance.
The performances were also be held in a Provincial Military Region and a Military Academy.
