On September 24, the China-Laos Railway Security Training Course of 2023 completed at Luang Prabang, Laos. The training course was hosted by LMLECC, undertaken by Lao Ministry of National Defense (MND) and Zhengzhou Police College of China. Mr. Jiang Shui, Deputy Secretary-General of the LMLECC and Maj. Gen. Sidarlor CHONGTENGJIASA, Deputy Chief of General Staff of Lao Ministry of National Defense and instructor representatives from the Zhengzhou Police College in China as well as trainee representatives from the Lao Ministry of National Defense delivered speeches at the closing ceremony.

The training course trained a total of 200 officers from the Lao Ministry of National Defense. The course included the construction of a railway security prevention and control system, the prevention and handling of railway sabotage cases, and the safety precautions of important railway line infrastructure. The officers participating in the training unanimously stated that through the training class, they had a deeper understanding of the security work of the China-Laos railway, learned knowledge, broadened their horizons, and enhanced their capabilities. They also expressed their sincere gratitude to the LMLECC and the Zhengzhou Police College instructor group.
