In the afternoon of July 23^rd,2019, Deputy Commissioner Pol. Maj. Gen. Choorat led a delegation to visit LMLECC. Secretary-General Mr. ZHENG Baingang held the meeting with the delegation, in which Deputy Secretary-General Amphanh Xaiyasoubath, Deputy Secretary-General JIANG Shui and officers of ICOS and PC joined.

    During the meeting, Secretary-General Mr. ZHENG Baigang briefly introduced the basic information, the function and the main achievements of LMLECC. Both sides deeply exchanged ideas regarding to the routine meeting on joint patrol, information exchange platform(LMIN) and cooperation on transnational criminal information exchange in the Lancang-Mekong River Basin and joint operation. Deputy Commissioner Choorat expressed appreciation for the role played by the Center in promoting law enforcement cooperation in the Lancang-Mekong River Basin. And he proposed that in the future, Police Region 5, RTP will further strengthen the cooperation with LMLECC.
