Recently, Mr. Nei Yong, Secretary-General of Anti-Drug Committee of Thailand led a delegation to visit the Lancang-Mekong Integrated Law Enforcement and Security Cooperation Center. Secretary-General Mr. ZHENG Baigang held the meeting with the delegation, in which Deputy Secretary-General Amphanh Xaiyasoubath and Deputy Secretary-General JIANG Shui and directors of all departments.

    During the meeting, Secretary-General Mr. ZHENG Baigang briefly introduced to the delegation on the overall situation of the Center, anti-drug situation in the basin countries and measures taken by the center to improve drug control level in the basin countries. Mr. Nei Yong, Secretary-General of Anti-Drug Committee of Thailand expressed his appreciation for the role played by the Center in promoting law enforcement and security cooperation in the Lancang-Mekong River Basin. The current situation of anti-drug work in Thailand and the drug situation surrounding area were introduced by detail and he proposed that in the future, the anti-drug committee will further continue to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with the Center to make joint effort to build cooperation platform in promoting anti-drug cooperation platform and combating drug related crime among river basin countries.
