Recently, Lao and Cambodian staff of the LMLECC returned to Kunming and successfully completed quarantine and resumption of work.

Affected by the pandemic situation, Lao and Cambodian staff of the center have been staying in their country since the beginning of this year. During this period, all staff members have been working with the center synchronously, actively interacting with each other through remote means, properly promoting the national law enforcement departments to carry out rescue of abducted persons, coordinating the arrest of fugitives, and participating in the summary of the joint operation stage and research projects. With the adjustment of the entry policy for foreign personnel, since last month, Lao and Cambodian staff have returned to Kunming and completed quarantine in strict accordance with the requirements of the Chinese government for pandemic prevention and control. During the period of quarantine, the center provided services, took the initiative to care and deliver fruits and daily necessities. Lao staff Phoupheth repeatedly sighed that returning to the center was like going home. It was very warm. Up to now, all Lao and Cambodian staff have returned to work.
