近日，由澜湄执法中心援建的老挝波乔省公安厅班那峦毒品查缉点查获一起运输毒品案，查获冰毒200千克，抓获两名老挝籍犯罪嫌疑人。

Days before, a drug smuggling case was broken at Bannaloang drug checkpoint in Pochio Province of Laos which aided by the LMLECC. 200kg of methamphetamine were seized and 2 Lao suspects were arrested.

2020年6月5日晚上8时许，常驻班那峦查缉点的执法人员，对一辆从波乔省会塞县向南塔省行驶的货车进行拦截并例行检查。发现运输的货物中有大量疑似毒品颗粒物，执法人员当场控制2名嫌疑人。经鉴定，现场缴获冰毒片剂约200千克、货车1辆、手机3部、200万吉普、12,000泰铢。此案是班那峦查缉点自5月建成试运行后，查获的数量最多的毒品案件，老方执法部门已通过LMIN系统向澜湄执法中心通报了案件的具体情况。下步中心将与老方共同研究，更好发挥查缉点作用，共同打击流域毒品犯罪。

At about 8 pm, June 5,2020, the law enforcement officers deployed at Bannaloang drug checkpoint held a truck ahead for Nantem from Hoiysay and conducted routine checking. In the cargo a large number of particulate matter which suspected drug was found, then the officers detained 2 suspects on spot. After identification the seized methamphetamine tablets weighed 200kg, meanwhile one truck, 3 mobile phones, 2 million KIP and 12,000 THB were detained. It is the case in which the largest amount of drug was seized since May 2020 when the drug checkpoint was put into operation. The law enforcement agency of Laos has shared the information of this case with the LMLECC via the LMIN system. In the future the LMLECC along with Laos will conduct further research to take fully advantage of the drug checkpoints to combat regional drug crimes.
